Trip Sign Up Procedures for 2018 Long Trips

Don't sign up frivolously, sign up because you want to go on the trip. Your $100 deposit is non-refundable.

Online registration for all Charter trips will open:  Thurs Sep 21, 2017 at 8:00 PM.

Trip Sign Up #2

Online registration for all Overnight Bus trips will open:  Thurs Oct 26, 2017 at 8:00 PM.

Here is How Online Registration Works:

1.      You must join the club and pay the membership fee for 2017-2018 to be eligible to register. Do this well before registration night.

2.      Registration for any charter trip or overnight bus trip requires that you have read, understood and will comply  with the Long Trips Member Policies, press here, Long Trip Member Policies 2017-2018 .

3.      Registration will open at 8:00 PM on the dates specified. Login with your password to www.hpsc.ca and roll over Long Trips > double click on OVERNIGHT BUS TRIPS 2018, or, double click on CHARTER TRIPS 2018 > scroll down and click on Trip XX.

4.      SelectRegister " button, follow the prompts and complete payment of a $100 non-refundable deposit.

5.      The $100 non-refundable deposit secures your seat on the trip. The deposit amount will be applied toward the cost of the trip. For CHARTER TRIPS you will deduct this amount from the final payment, NOT the initial deposit to the tour operator.

6.      Once you have registered and paid your $100 non-refundable deposit, your seat on that trip is held. The following day you will complete Stage-2 of the registration process . 

7.      You can register for as many trips as you like as long as they are not “Sold Out”.

8.      You can register yourself and ONE other member on each trip. 

9.      If you register another member, your deposit amount will be $200.00. The deposit will be applied toward the cost of each seat. (You have paid $100 on behalf of the other member so must work out reimbursement of their deposit from them. HPSC will not do this for you.)

10.   After you have registered, the Trip Leader will advise you by email to login and register on Trip XX  Stage-2 Registration Completion page. To locate this page,  roll over Long Trips > double click on OVERNIGHT BUS TRIPS 2018, or, double click on CHARTER TRIPS 2018 > scroll down and click on Trip XX Stage-2 Registration Completion. This page can only be seen by members who are registered. 

11. SelectRegister ", chose the options and enter other required data.  You must complete Stage-2 within 48 hours after receiving the email or you will lose your seat and forfeit your deposit. Reread the last sentence, it is important.

(1)   Charter Trips

You can pay for a charter trip by cheque or credit card (Visa and MasterCard accepted). The Trip Leader will send you instructions on where to mail your cheque payment or your credit card payment form. Do not mail it to the clubhouse! However if you wish to delivery the cheques or form in person, charter Trip Leaders will be attending the AGM Meeting on Thurs Sep 28, 2017, see webpage for location.

a.      If you are paying by Credit Card, you will send a completed CC Payment Form to the Trip Leader, who will forward it to the tour operator.  The tour operator will charge the trip deposit amount at that time, and then charge the final balance (less the $100 non-refundable deposit) on the due date for that trip (see description for specific amounts and final payment date).

b.      If you are paying by cheque, you will send 2 cheques to the Trip Leader, one for the deposit amount and a second for the final balance – deduct your $100 pre-registration deposit from the final balance amount. Cheques are made payable to the tour operator. The Trip Leader will tell you the company name of the tour operator.

(2)   Overnight Bus Trips

You will complete payment of the balance by credit card on the website (Visa and MasterCard accepted). Cheques are not accepted. 

12. When a trip is sold out the " Join waitlist " button appears. There is NO deposit amount required to join the waitlist. (The webpage may seen confusing but absolutely no deposit is required.) The waitlist is kept in order of signing up and the Trip Leader will email you when seats becomes available. Cancellations do occur and those on the waitlist will be contacted when that happens.

NON-MEMBERS

We welcome non-member’s enquiries about our long trips program. Non-members wanting information can email, longtrips@hpsc.ca. Note: You must become a HPSC member in order to participate in our Overnight bus and Charter trips.


MEMBERS

Members can sign up for an Overnight bus or Charter trip by selecting theRegister " button beside the trip description. Follow the prompts and pay the $100 non-refundable deposit required.
